Old Leigh Regatta is a weekend of family fun across Old Leigh, organised by the Old Leigh Sea Scout Groups (3rd Chalkwell Bay and 4th/6th Leigh-on-Sea). The road is closed and filled with stalls, games, entertainment, live music, sailing and competitions between the Sea Scout Groups.
Open 11am – 7pm Saturday and Sunday
There are traditional sailing races organised by Leigh Sailing Club, as well as live music throughout the weekend, games and activities organised by the Sea Scouts for all the family, as well as competitions for the public and between the Sea Scouts Groups, such as welly-hoying, the Scout Pentathlon, tug-o-war and cockle eating competitions. There will be scores of local community stalls, games, live music, entertainment and activities for all the family.
