The Cub Scout Pack has up to 36 boys & girls and is split into smaller groups called Sixes. Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.
A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors. Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm.
Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs, and every other year the Pack joins the Scouts and Explorers for a large “green field” Group camp. This will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.
As part of a Sea Scout Group the Cubs also do a host of water activities, including basic sailing & rowing tuition from the Group’s trained instructors.
The Pack meets at the Den every Wednesday evening. For more information about the Cub Pack, Cub Leader Tricia Smith at the Den on 01702 476890 on a Wednesday evening.
