Bag Packing Fundraising

We’ve been invited by Waitrose offering us the opportunity to help shoppers pack their bags and collect donations in their Leigh store, on Sat 21st to Mon 23rd December, between 11 and 4 each day.
We’ve done this previously at this time of year, raising over £2000 each time. The funds raised for this are specifically to buy tents and equipment for the Explorer Unit, who have relied on borrowing tents from younger sections or using personal ones until now – something we want to address as the Unit grows.
Explorers and Scout PLs & APLs are invited to give a few of hours of their time on one or more days to assist in the bag packing and collecting. It’s usually surprisingly good fun to help spread the Christmas cheer.

Full uniform please, with either Sea Scout or Santa hats.
