Life-Threatening Bleed Course

14 July @ 19:00 22:00

Training on using the trauma equipment we carry in our wardroom kits, including:
Use of torniquets, trauma dressings, haemostatic gauze, vented and non-vented chest seals, for managing life-threatening bleeds, penetrating injuries, chest injuries, amputations etc.

This is hands on training using fake limbs and props for people to get hands on with, and actually have a go using the equipment.

Due to the nature of the training, this is not appropriate for anyone particularly squeamish / doesn’t like the sight of blood etc.

This is for adult helpers / leaders only. Priority will be given to sections heads and section leader attending summer camp this year.

Participants will receive a regulated certificate issued through NUCO, valid for 3 years, can be used outside of Scouting.
