SUMMARY:First Aid Course
DESCRIPTION:RYA First Aid course which will satisfy the RYA Instructor and Scout Association First Aid Course requirements. Book here. \n\n\n\nThis is a ‘marine focused’ first aid course\, but we will adapt to try and make it more suitable for our young peoples age ranges and the many opportunities which we provide to these young people. \n\n\n\nPriority will be given to those who require training for permit and leadership roles\, and further dates will be added in due course if required. \n\n\n\nIf you are unable to book onto this course due to it being full\, then please e-mail CMcHugh@3rdCB.org.uk so additional courses can be arranged if required. \n\n\n\nThis is open to 3rdCB leaders\, 3rdCB Youth Members (Scouts/Explorers) who need it for YL\, DofE\, activity permits\, instructor courses etc\, and any other adults leaders in Scouting in Southend West of Essex.

SUMMARY:Sunday Duty Patrol
DESCRIPTION:We all have a responsibility to keep The Den clean & tidy\, and to ensure that the boats are bailed regularly\, particularly during the winter months. On the third Sunday of each month the Scouts and Explorers take it in turns (by Patrol / Division) to be the Sunday Duty Patrol and keep our HQ and equipment running properly. Please make a note of the day your patrol is on duty – it is only once a year and makes a big difference in keeping our HQ running well. \n\n\n\nSunday Duty Patrol starts at 10:30 and lasts for about 1½ hours.  Where there is a Church Parade on the same day\, duty patrol will start on completion. \n\n\n\nWear old clothes that you can clean in.
