Group AGM – 9th July 2013

Tuesday 9th July is our Annual General Meeting being held at The Den at 20.30hrs, this is an important meeting where Leaders, members and parents agree on the Group reports, accounts and also where the Group Executive Committee members are elected.

The Executive Committee is an important part of the Group and is formed of Section Leaders and elected members such as Treasurer, Parent Reps, who don’t hold scouting roles within the Group and deal with the business side (accounts, legal, etc) of 3rd CB, thus saving the Leader team from more work and enables them to focus on your Child’s Scouting and the activities that are run.

It would be nice to get a large turn out, as you all know the Group has had a busy year with the purchase of the old Knapp’s yard next door and the large fund raising project we are now doing. There will be teas and coffees at the end where you will be able to ask any questions you may have to any of the Leaders or Exec members.
