Solebay Scout wins national design competition

Next year marks the 100th anniversary of Sea Scouting’s partnership with the Royal Navy, and earlier this year Sea Scouts from across the country were invited to design a badge to mark the occasion.

We’re delighted to be told that one of our Scouts has won the competition, and her design will be turned into the badge that can be worn by every Sea Scout in the country – a huge congratulations to the very creative and talented Tallulah from Solebay Troop.

Scout HQ received an amazing 120 entries from young people around the UK, and representatives from the Royal Navy, the UK Youth Commissioner Team, and volunteers and staff supporting Sea Scouting, had the really difficult task of choosing a winning entry.
